Essex Cares Ltd (ECL) is pleased to learn that, following inspections by the CQC at the end of 2017 three Essex regions have transformed their CQC ratings in just one year. In each region they have been assessed as "Good" for every dimension and "Outstanding" for "well led".
This is a great achievement and follows a lot of hard work and dedication by staff at ECL on the back of inspections in October 2016 which gave a 'Requires Improvement' rating to services in North Essex, West Essex and Mid Essex.
Over the past year ECL has implemented an improvement process across all regions. The programme of improvement included an overhaul of operational processes, training and auditing.
Keir Lynch, Chief Executive, ECL said; "We are delighted with the results of our recent CQC inspections. This significant improvement in our ratings reflects the quality of care provided by ECL and is testament to the hard work of staff and managers within the three regions.
In particular, to know that all three areas achieved an outstanding rating in the well-led category means we are confident that the direction we are taking with our leadership is the right one."
I am also thrilled to read comments from those we care for and their relatives about the high quality care given by our front line teams. To read that one resident said "I wouldn't recommend any improvements as you can't improve on excellence, can you? They are all so well trained and have a lovely attitude to their work. They are special." is incredible and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our staff for their hard work and dedication."
