"This service will support people across the Braintree District, particularly those adults with learning disabilities, who may not previously had access to these fantastic and often life-changing facilities."

Cllr Stephen Canning, Member, Essex County Council and Braintree District Council

"We are delighted to be opening this new facility to the public. Sensory development is vitally important for people with learning disabilities. The new equipment will provide ways to engage with people who otherwise might have limited abilities to interact. We believe sensory experience can be a transformative process in helping every person to develop as an individual."

Keir Lynch, Chief Executive, ECL

A coffee morning and cutting of the ribbon ceremony was held to celebrate the occasion.
