Family members, carers and members of the public watched on as ECL’s talented performers put on a show full of energy and passion.

One of the cast expressed their joy:

It was an experience and it helped me with confidence. Everyone worked as a team, good behaviours, staff worked hard, so brilliant. I have never been to the Mercury in my life. Thank you for making it possible and to volunteers as well. I will do it again – I loved it.

Chosen by the cast, Our Kind of Music included music from Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Oliver and new pieces. The cast showcased singing, dancing and signing to music.

The performance was fantastic, I am very proud of our Crafty Drama customers, especially when you consider it was their first professional theatre performance. We help our customers gain the knowledge, skills and confidence they need for everyday life and I believe that this performance is a step in the right direction.
