Essex Equipment Service delivers and installs vital equipment and Adaptions to Individuals within their homes to aid independence, following an assessment from an Occupational Therapist or Trusted Assessor.

The role is to support the processing and scheduling of Non Standard equipment, within the Customer Service and Resource Planning Team. The successful applicant will be liaising with therapists, equipment suppliers and customers by phone or email on a regular basis to achieve a timely delivery of Non Standard equipment. The role is varied and will include assisting the Occupational Therapists working at Essex Equipment Service with identification and cataloguing of Non Standard equipment, at times working in a busy warehouse environment. The successful applicant needs to have the ability to manage their own time, problem solve and complete a variety of tasks independently.

You will need to be someone who is passionate about delivering excellent levels of customer service, has a strong sense of professionalism and has good IT and literacy skills.  You will also need to have very strong interpersonal skills and be confident in dealing with potentially challenging situations when gathering information about customer’s needs.  As a result of this, the success of the application for this position will depend on the individual passing a DBS (Criminal Records Bureau) check.
