ECL’s vision is to be the supplier of choice for Adult Health and Social Care.

Essex Equipment Service delivers and installs vital equipment and Adaptions to Individuals within their homes to aid independence, following an assessment from an Occupational Therapist or Trusted Assessor.

The role is to provide high level resource planning, job scheduling and route planning to frontline Drivers and Technicians within the Equipment Service and to provide excellent customer service to customers across Essex. Dealing directly with ECL staff and customers with empathy and assurance of service delivery.

The rolerequires a high level of understanding of the geographical area and staff resources available, to ensure an efficient and cost effective service for both the customer and the business. The post holder will be expected to understand the job scheduling, staff allocation and route planning system and will be expected to work on their own initiative when dealing with last minute changes that can occur.

This is a pivotal role-to help deliver a high standard service and excellent corporate reputation through ensuring customers get the right product and service at the right time.

You will need to be someone who is passionate about delivering excellent levels of customer service, has a strong sense of professionalism and has good IT and literacy skills.  You will also need to have very strong interpersonal skills and be confident in dealing with potentially challenging situations when gathering information about customer’s needs.  As a result of this, the success of the application for this position will depend on the individual passing a DBS (Criminal Records Bureau) check.
