Community Care Assistants work in the community to support people to maximise their health, well being and independence.

Health Care Assistants work in the community in people’s homes as part of an integrated health and social care team.

Occupational Therapists work with individuals, using specific activities to limit the effects of disability and promote independence in all aspects of daily life. They work with our Equipment Services to order home adaptations and equipment to maximise safety and maintain independence at home for the maximum time possible.

Physiotherapists provide physiotherapy expertise to customers, supporting people living in the community to achieve their desired outcomes, including maximising their health, wellbeing and independence and enhancing their quality of life.

Trusted Assessors carry out initial assessments, outcome focused support planning and subsequent customer reviews in variety of settings, including customer homes, ECL buildings, hospitals and community settings both in person and via the telephone.

Resource Planners manage employee resource planning to ensure appropriately skilled and sufficient employees are available to carry out customer home visits.

Receptionists work within the hubs providing a friendly face and giving help and advice to our visitors and customers.

Administrators provide an efficient administrative service to ensure efficient and effective response times are delivered to maintain service standards.


Sighted/Communicator Guides support people with sight loss and dual sensory loss in the community.

Rehabilitation Workers undertake assessments and reviews, provide individually tailored rehabilitation programs for visually impaired or dual sensory impaired people and to help the sensory service evolve further.


Local Business Managers manage, lead and inspire a team to ensure the delivery of high standards of care and support operating within agreed budgets. This role is instrumental in developing the business objectives and seeking out opportunities to increase income.

Area Business Managers are responsible for the day to day running of the Regulated Service teams or Work and Wellbeing services, ensuring compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) and legislative requirements, including industry best practice.

Our small corporate services team include a range of departments supporting the quality, growth and efficiency of the company. Teams include Finance, Performance, Procurement, Property, IT, Project Management, HR, Learning and Development, Marketing and Communications and Quality and Governance.

Contact Centre

Our team of Contact Centre Advisers work on the phones and are the first point of contact for customer queries between 7am - 11pm.

Essex Equipment Services

With over 4,000 core products available, we make more than 106,000 equipment and telecare deliveries and collections each year across Essex, all from our extensive warehousing facility in Witham. We employ Warehouse staff, driver/fitters, team leaders and managers.
