About this hub

Hesten Lodge Wellbeing Hub ensures that you are at the centre of all we do, tailoring programmes, activities and projects to meet your needs, interests and aspirations.

Our trusted assessors are available to support you to develop and design your support and our team of support workers are there to ensure everything you want to do is worked towards and achieved.

The variety of activities offered are based on a flexible timetable as we understand that what you may want to do can change, we then tailor these to match your interests and individual goals.

Guided physiotherapy sessions are provided if required. The team work in partnership with local community health professionals such as Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.

Pricing

Prices will depend on the length of your session(s) and the level of support you need. As an example a full day with one of our services would typically start at around £58. Please note that you will be assessed on the levels of support you need.

Meet Caroline, a customer at Hesten Lodge

Caroline has been part of our Hub for over 10 years and up until recently enjoyed being physically active. Caroline would walk around the hub and be able to actively participate in physical activities such as the parachute game and walking in the local park. Unfortunately, Caroline has a serious complication with her health which left her tired and physically weak and is now reliant on a wheelchair to mobilise.

Here at Hesten we are now working with Caroline to promote her core strength and co-ordination, goals which have been identified as part of her support plan.

The team follows goals and exercises provided by the community physiotherapist, in conjunction with ECL's therapies team and Caroline's walking equipment is kept on site. Caroline is supported to use the walking equipment everyday as part of her physiotherapy plan to work towards Caroline being able to walk again.

Caroline is already showing improvement with her co-ordination and core strength.

Our aim is to always help our customers progress and work towards reaching their goals.
