About this hub

Hogarth & Lions Wellbeing Hub is a forward-thinking day centre for older adults with a range of needs. We support adults living with Alzheimer's, dementia and mental health issues. Customers enjoy close friendships and networks. We are developing a lounge bar on site where customers can make their own or be served, morning coffee/tea and afternoon mocktails.

How does the service work?

With support tailored to each individual , we offer a wide range of activities and care that encourage choice and independence for older people.

Our service offers people opportunities to socialise, join in a variety of activities which include seated exercise, cookery, hair & beauty, pub quizzes, trips to the local parks, restaurants and garden centres.

We also take opportunities to have intergeneration activities with the children form the local schools in our area such as attending school plays and inviting children to attend our events.

Our approach to your care

Activities at our hub are focused on maintaining independence and improving wellbeing. We provide the opportunity to take part in a wide range of enjoyable and stimulating social activities: both onsite and out amongst the local community.

We recognise that carers need support too. Our services are tailored to the needs of carers as well as our customers because we know that time away from each other is important.

Our highly skilled staff create a warm, happy and positive atmosphere are specialists in supporting older people with learning disabilities, sensory impairments, dementia and Alzheimer's. We provide tea/toast/biscuits on arrival and a two course hot meal.

Prices will depend on the length of your session(s) and the level of support you need. As an example a full day with one of our services would typically start at around £58. Please note that you will be assessed on the levels of support you need.
