The team also supplies the diner with fresh home grown vegetables throughout the year. Functional skills are incorporated into the training with research via the internet and keeping work books building on the trainees individual core skills. The team also operates off site, maintaining outdoor spaces other centres and local businesses within the community. These projects include a primary school where they tend the landscape garden area which enhances the entrance to the school and provides diversity in the skills learnt.
