National Learning Disability Awareness Week 19th - 25th August is an annual campaign by local service providers, individuals, their families and support workers to raise awareness of Learning Disability.
The main focus is on Hate Crime - "Report It to Sort It"
Our organisations have teamed up to hold an information sharing event for people with learning disabilities and their families and carers. There will be stalls, activities dance workshops, hate crime presentations, badge making, proud to be me activities.

Essex Cares will have a table in the High Chelmer shopping center in Chelmsford on Saturday 17th August 2013, 10am - 2pm. Click here to view the poster.
From 19th - 25th August Essex Cares will also have a table in the foyer of Chelmsford Library with information on the services we run.
