ECL Outreach service encourages individuals to access the community with one-to-one support from trained staff. Initially the customer will meet with the Outreach team leader who will allocate a primary and secondary worker and agree on an activity programme. ECL's staff will then carry out visits as planned encouraging and supporting customers to be active in their local community.
A wide range of support is offered from help with household affairs, carrying out routine daily activities and participating in favourite pastimes right through to visiting the hairdresser. The service is becoming increasingly popular and our customers are benefitting from increased independence and social inclusion.
