ECL runs Wellbeing Hubs right across the county supporting the elderly, those with learning disabilities and those suffering from mental health conditions for example dementia. The service is delivered via the Local Authority, to self-funders or to those with personal budgets.
Over 1,200 individuals annually benefit from these services, being able to engage in a range of outcome focused activities on site and in the local community maintaining wellbeing, encouraging independence and social inclusion. Customers can take part in chair-fit, arts & crafts, cookery, IT skills, drama clubs, lunch clubs, shopping trips, yoga and gym visits amongst other activities.
Each of our centres has become involved in its local community and is used by residents and third sector groups alike; becoming an integral part of the areas’ support network.
