Dementia support
Our friendly team at your local ECL Day Service offers bespoke support and tailored activities to help you to maintain your independence and make new friends.

At ECL, we take a person-centred approach and recognise that the support needed by each customer can be completely different.
For some, therapeutic approaches such as hand massages, relaxation, doll and pet therapy can help with stress or anxiety, for others reminiscence activities bring great joy and help maintain important memories.
Our friendly, experienced, professionals will support you every step of the way.
At ECL a Trusted Assessor will work with you to identify your goals and put together a tailored support plan, you will also have an allocated Keyworker to support you on a daily basis and our Service Managers will oversee your care.
A clinical team consisting of Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language, and Positive Behavioural Support can provide expertise in mobility, communication, changing behaviour, eating, and swallowing.
We offer specialist support for people living with conditions such as Dementia and Parkinson’s and are proud to have achieved a gold accreditation in Dementia Friendly Design by the Dementia Services Development Centre at the University of Stirling.

Digital innovation
At ECL we have introduced motion-activated technology to stimulate sensory experiences. This is ideal for our older customers and offers a different and enjoyable way to engage.
Using our innovative equipment can unlock memories from the past through reminiscence activities, help customers stay connected and improve hand and eye coordination.
