Fran Driver Award Presentation

We’re delighted to announce that Fran Driver, Head of Quality and Governance has won the Social Care Leadership, Quality Assurance Leader Award.

Organised by Care Talk magazine, the annual Social Care Leadership Awards recognise excellence across all areas of social care leadership.

We’re proud to say that two ECL managers were finalists at this year’s awards, Inclusive Employment Business Manager, Sue Wray in the Executive Learning Disabilities and Autism Leader category, and Fran in the Quality Assurance Leader category.

Nominated for being a passionate guardian of ECL’s quality and governance, Fran has been instrumental in establishing our Quality and Governance Assurance Assessment designed to stringently monitor quality standards across all service areas.

This approach played a key role in our regulated services achieving Outstanding and Good CQC outcomes. Its effectiveness is evident in the outcome of the latest CQC inspection of ECL Havering - rated Good overall and Good in every domain.

This win recognises Fran’s prominent role in keeping staff and customers safe during the coronavirus pandemic, ensuring COVID-19 safety protocols were rigorously upheld across all services.

ECL Chief Executive, Keir Lynch said: “Fran is a deserving winner of the Quality Assurance Leader award. In her 26 years working in Quality and Governance, Fran has helped shape a culture of quality, playing a key role in the development of high company standards with an emphasis on excellence and integrity.

This recognition is testament to their hard work and commitment to achieving our vision to be the care provider of choice. Both Sue and Fran do an amazing job in leading their teams, upholding our values of being caring, delivering excellence and operating with integrity and team spirit in everything that they do.”
