In West Essex we provide short-term reablement care to customers in their own homes across Basildon, Billericay, Brentwood, and Wickford.

Joining us as a reablement Care Assistant means you'll be part of a committed and proud team and receive some great benefits including:
- £12.69 ph weekdays, £14.69 ph weekend plus mileage (including when you're travelling between customers)
- Mileage paid at 45p per mile

A day in the life of…Sally Dunster, Sensory Specialist Practitioner
Sally joined ECL in January 2023 and works within our Sensory Impairment Service which supports people who have a sight loss, hearing loss or combined sight and hearing loss, to maintain independence and dignity in every aspect of daily life.

When Ronald, who is registered blind, was told he was to be discharged from hospital after a health scare, he was concerned about how he’d manage on his own so soon. The promise of a six-week package of additional care at home did little to ease his fears, but after meeting the ECL Sensory team Ronald quickly realised he was in very capable hands…

Having been discharged from any formal treatment programme, Jean was referred to ECL’s Sensory Service for further support and, thanks to her Rehabilitation Worker, has now been given the tools to enable her to enjoy her independence…
