Sensory Champion Training (CPD Accredited)

This training is designed to deepen your understanding of sensory loss and equip you with practical strategies to create an inclusive environment. It offers practical insights into sight and/or hearing loss, helping you understand the challenges faced by individuals with Sensory loss.

Leave the course with an understanding on sight and/or hearing loss.

Learn how your business or organisation can make changes to become more accessible

Hints and tips on how to communicate more effectively to prevent barriers and isolation for people living with Sensory impairments.

Find out about technology and equipment available to enable independence

Learn first-hand from people experiencing sight and/or hearing loss

Leave the course with 4-CPD accredited points.

*The term sensory is used by us in relation to sight, hearing and dual sensory (deafblind) impairments.

Funding Opportunities

Eligible Essex-based NHS staff and Care Home professionals may be able to access this training free of charge through funded places. Get in touch with the Sensory Team for further details.
