In West Essex we provide short-term reablement care to customers in their own homes across Basildon, Billericay, Brentwood, and Wickford.

Joining us as a reablement Care Assistant means you'll be part of a committed and proud team and receive some great benefits including:
- £12.69 ph weekdays, £14.69 ph weekend plus mileage (including when you're travelling between customers)
- Mileage paid at 45p per mile

Sally

Fast-forward to today and Sally’s ECL career is going from strength to strength…
ECL Ward-led Enablement helps woman with restricted mobility regain her confidence and independence.
Jane was admitted to hospital with to shortness of breath and difficulties while moving. While on the ward she began working with ECL’s Ward-led Enablement team to regain her mobility using a frame.

Mark was admitted to hospital with restricted mobility and difficulty managing his medication. He received help from the ECL Ward-led Enablement team during his stay and upon discharge, received support at home to further aid his recovery.
Josh’s story
Josh was supported by ECL’s Inclusive Employment service after leaving full-time education. The Inclusive Employment team worked with him to help him determine what his next steps should be, gaining paid employment or going to college.
Graham’s Journey to Recovery with ECL's Reablement Service
Thanks to ECL’s reablement services, Graham, who faced a health challenge after a stroke, was able to regain his confidence, regain his mobility and enjoy the hobbies he had to give up, and become chatty, like he once was.
Barry and Julie's Story
Married for over 50 years, Barry and Julie were devastated when Julie was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2020. They popped into nearby ECL Loughton – Jessops Court Day Centre for a visit and immediately felt at home.
